Juicing
Lately we have been obsessed with juicing here. Will bought me a juicer for Xmas and I was SOOO excited to open it! I literally thought about telling him that he had to let me try it out and just wrap the box to give to me on xmas. A girl at work has been into juicing for a looooong time now, and she talks about it ALL the time and so I really felt like I needed to see what this is all about.
We watched reviews on Youtube of the juicer we got before trying ours out and it was soooo exciting. I literally cheered at the screen.
Our first drink was a concoction of everything available in my grandmothers kitchen- and so it was a bit heavy on the celery. Apparently celery has a very dominate taste (warning *use with caution*). We made a mixture of honeydew, watermelon, apples, celery, and strawberries. Honestly, it wasn't that bad considering we literally opened the fridge and threw every veggie/ fruit we saw in there. I just have been afraid of celery ever since.
Since then we have branched out into other things- namely orange juice and a few other fruit combinations. Warning, blueberries are another one of those fruits that have a very dominating taste! Nothing like grapefruit/apple/orange/cauliflower/strawberry/blueberry juice that only tastes like blueberries!!
Not to mention, pina coladas that have been homemade in a juicer are to DIE for! You have to use coconut milk extract (which comes in a can) but there is nothing like fresh pineapple juice! Mimosas with fresh orange juice are pretty awesome too!
Cheers! Let's drink (fruit juice) to that!

Custom Orders
We LOVE doing custom orders for our customers. There's nothing like being able to take a vision one of our customers have, and giving it to them to see in real life.
Recently we have been able to do 2 custom necklace pendants created as gifts for 2 special girlfriends. They were great, created with both symbolism and personal meaning for the couples. We were also given the opportunity to memorialize a clients deceased father.
One of our past customers contacted us with a very special request that held both meaning and sentimental value for her and her family. She asked if we could create vintage bus key chains similar to those we do of the el trains.
We spent a lot of time creating the perfect image for the key chain, tweaking each line and detail on the piece. The end result was phenomenal. We had created a key chain modeled after the vintage CTA bus from the 60s. Groovy lines and purple, it was the epitome of style in the 60s. It also was the bus style that our clients father had started work on when he began his career operating Chicago buses. For our client this was full of sentiment, and also memories of her childhood and relationship with her father.
She contacted us in order to have several made so that she would be able to give them as Christmas gifts to her siblings in order to remember their father by each time they grabbed for their keys throughout the day.
This was hands down, the most rewarding project we have been able to work on to date.
Cheers to family, and cheers to memories!
Best Regards Always,
Brandi & Will
